That huge tank looking thing that cannot be missed from the main road if you are driving on bukit timah road. it also has a laid back exterior with casual outdoor seats and a cosy interior with a high ceiling, decorated with vintage furniture. i instantly liked the vibe about the place. high ceilings, in an old shop house setting.what’s your usual choice while having…

  • Things that my kids taught me while solo parenting last week.

Noise is virtually non-existence on this blog front since last week. I spent the week solo parenting the kids (both sick!!) and moving into a different role at work. Turns out, I ended up being severely sleep deprived, caught the flu bug myself from the kids and had to prep for a house warming party last weekend. As if life isn’t exciting enough with all the changes, I had to plan the house warming party on the same weekend. And even attempted to “bake” some jelly hearts to serve the guests. I know right, what was I thinking? but I survived the week and in the midst of it, learnt…

  • 12.9.2013 The day we celebrate our wedding anniversary & wedding traditions

der helping to lay my long train beautifully, just before we enter the ballroom for our march-in 3 years ago.a few days ago, we celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. Has it really been 3 years? Happy 3rd wedding anniversary to us! Life has been really good. 3 years is neither short or long, but we have done so much, spent most days together (other than the days either of us is travelling), started our own family, built our own nest, and survived through squabbles and fights. and by fights, i meant pillow fights because we hardly, ever go to bed angry with each other. sure, it’s aint perfect.. but is…

  • Greenfields Fresh Milk is honest fresh milk

Honest Fresh Milk is Greenfields Fresh Milk.

    * sponsored post for Greenfields Fresh Milk * Milk, is a topic that I am passionate about, because I am a breastfeeding mum and have to milk myself a few times a day (heh, sorry too much info!). You can be sure that I am, therefore, obsessed with freshness, the handling, the exposure (to bacteria), and storage of milk because I only want the baby to consume the freshest of all milk to the best of my ability. And I love drinking milk! Did I ever mention that I am a milk lover? I always have milk in my fridge and drink them all the time. In fact, I’m a…

  • teacher’s day presents.

and so, tomorrow is teacher’s day. if you have school going children like me, have you prepped the presents? or has it been a really tedious process, pondering about what presents to give them?   or maybe, you have no intentions of doing anything at all? Lol.   i do feel people these days are, in general, more critical then appreciative towards everyone around them. or it could have been the wide spread use of social media which has amplified the negative voices. I know I am fully guilty of dishing out complaints a lot more than praises or compliments on a daily basis. its so much easier to complain,…
