The MacBook Pro
Finally decided it was time to retire my old toshiba laptop and got myself a 13″ MacBook pro. Like finally. This arrived last week, brought by my uncle from the US with upgraded 8gb ram together with all my other online shopping loots (mostly baby related). But while I unpacked everything else and packed them aside, this is been lying in a corner.. untouched. This is so unlike me. The gadgets usually get my attention first and I can’t wait to rip them open and “test drive” it. This time round, the medela milk bottles and milk bags get priority and they get packed, used and washed first. This? It…

Poor hubby.
He is SO GONNA KILL ME FOR THIS! But I think it’s worthy of a mention and deserves a post of it on my blog. for remembrance. Heh. The poor hubby have been tired out by our small little milk monster. Last night, the hubby practically didn’t sleep a wink. He was up and about feeding and changing diapers, and between feeds, was playing on his iPad cos he couldn’t get to sleep! When I woke, he headed home to ran some errands before popping back 2 hrs later, right on cue for jerry’s next feed (it was already 6am) and after we were done and baby is back sleeping,…

Lesson learnt.
Never ever leave any personal documents or pictures in other people’s laptop, even if it’s your own husband. Must delete everything. Well, I haven’t been meddling with photoshop for a long time since my netbook came along 2 years ago. The netbook fast became the light thing to lug around and my laptop kinda became obsolete. I subsequently found it too slow and frustrating to use! Just yesterday, I borrowed my husband MacBook pro to crop and edit a picture for some travel documents and left the file on his desktop and guess what I found him doing couple of hours later?! Very nice. (%*+~!|*~%\*|$@”#) And he renamed the file…

ok. culprit found!
meanwhile, i think all those little naps that i have taken during mid day.. and all those nights that my mum relieved me from taking care of the baby has been pushing the baby AWAY from me! der and me found out yesterday that… only my mum can soothe Jerry! when he fusses and we tried to soothe him, he gets from irritated to major rage, howling the house down and nothing, nothing that we do can soothe him. then comes my mum. she just plonks the baby on her chest (koala position) and the baby goes quiet within seconds. how can that be?! and now, i am beginning to…

The husband and daddy..
Right after Jerry pops out, I can’t decide whether I still love my husband or am starting hate him. Never the bit that his attention was all on the tiny bud since the moment he pop out and forgot about the well-being of the mother (ello, its me!!). Haha. You know, he’s literally glued to his iPad/iPhone all the time.. So I asked.. Hey, now that Jerry is out, are you donna drop your iPad and attend to Jerry? He looked at me and went…can I have an iJerry please?! When he was going to attempt to carry Jerry.. I went, hey, remove your watch (it’s his rolex), wait you…

My sweet hubby.
I have always been a big fan of roasted duck and I haven’t ate any for the longest time ever since I got preggers, because of a miscommunication between my mum and me. She kept telling me that I should avoid duck meat because they are oh-so-toxic. I was rather bummed out and made der promise that he’ll bring me on a trip to hong kong to feast on their roasted goose before the end of the year. It’s many times nicer than a roasted duck and besides it’s been ages since we last went hk.. The last time i went, i lugged back 3 big birds for the family…

The miserable slob that I am..
Or turning into. I’m not sure if the home rest with the doc’s mc is a good thing. I’m definitely one of those that treasure my mobility A LOT, and being stuck at home in pain is no fun. Especially since I can’t really find a comfortable position to lie in for long without feeling aches and pain especially with the weight that im bearing. I still remember when I had that ligament surgery some years back, I snuck out in the evening with my crutches on the day I was discharged from the hospital, much to the horror of my mum. Yes, never mind that I hopped into a…

Sleep talking
My boy sleep talks quite a bit everyday, and being the light sleeper that I am.. Sometimes, I wake, only to realize he is sleeping.. The conversations can vary to really weird things and the best part is, if I ask a question.. He will still answer me in his sleep. The following convo just happened in the dark (I woke to pee and can’t sleep after) while I was playing with my mobile phone. Der: hey, go move the car to the side.Me: huh?! Why should I move the car? Der: you are blocking someone in the multi-storey carpark. Me: *giggles* Sometimes, it’s about girls (his colleagues), shoes, his…

the fun saturday morning…
i have been secretly praying that the baby won’t pop out that soon because i very last minute decided to sign myself up for a maternity shoot to capture some memories of this pregnancy. because it’s so last minute, i haven’t really done my research and really think about how i want the shoot to be. i enlisted der’s help in checking out some maternity shoot packages, decided on one, made an appointment that fit into our schedule and viola, the next thing we know.. we are on set. we did the shoot yesterday morning, the only saturday that’s available since our antenatal class ended last weekend, and being totally…
