The hfmd cases in Jerry’s school has spiked to 7 cases. The husband and I decided we are going to keep him away for a while, just for the safety measure so he is going shopping with his nai nai today since a distant relative is in town. and while we were leaving the house earlier.. Conversations with the husband #4 Quick update: My little chub chub is still sick and running the possibility of a hospital admission. sigh. We are gonna nebulize him for 2 days in hope he gets better else we will be reporting to the hospital for admission. teacher’s day presents.
and so, tomorrow is teacher’s day. if you have school going children like me, have you prepped the presents? or has it been a really tedious process, pondering about what presents to give them? or maybe, you have no intentions of doing anything at all? happy birthday to me.
some weeks back, I turned another year older. uneventfully. I think birthdays get a whole lot more toned down as I age. I spent the day on a quick date with the husb, out watching hossan leong’s stand up comedy and had loads of laughter for company. had a quick dinner before we zipped home for the kids. thank you all who sent well wishes and greetings my way through fb, text messages, whatsapp, IG and all other social platforms, thank you very much. jerome turns 6 months.
my chubby baby turned 6 months old a couple of days back, just like that. has it really been half a year? and just for the stats, he is currently at 8.05kg, way heavier as compared to jerry at the same age and I really love all his chubby fats. feels like a squishy bear all the time when I hug him. his head circumference is 42cm and height is 66cm tall. this baby is a loud and noisy one. he is constantly trying to blabber something or shrieks and screams when he is unhappy. he revels in human touch. if you leave him alone, he screams and demand…

Conversations with the husband #3 after a super frustrating bedtime routine with a toddler who simply refused to sleep for > 2 hours.. my tempers were flaring and I really was on the verge of strangling him or giving him away to another family. totally embarrassed to admit this but I have many brand new shoes sitting around the house, waiting to be worn.. and this is just one of those pairs. am I alone? tell me I’m not alone in this ‘I need to get that pair of shoes, but I only have 1 pair of feet to wear them all’ situation. at 25 months (2 year 1 month old), it happened.
jerry fighting in school/childcare. I expected this would happen someday because boys would be boys right? but at this young tender age? *in disbelief* I dont quite believe that jerry would bite anyone unprovoked. and someone 3 years his senior? he must be freaking upset or angry. he has a huge scratch across his nose and it looks pretty deep. I hope there wont be scars. I am sooooo gonna go to the school tomorrow morning to find out what happened. ******* p.s. yes.
