another haircut..
jerry’s hair has finally grown out after many many months… after that horrible hair cut in feb.. if you recall, he looked like the photo below. it took him 3 months to grow it out and look a bit decent. decided that its time for a slight trim since he’s turning 2, and starting childcare next week. this time round, i made sure the usual stylist is around! no more chances.. cannot sit still boy. he startd all proper with the cover and ended up with nothing because he kept tugging for it to come off. i think he hates the velcro thats prickinghim at the back of his neck.…

ikea shopping.
we did more shopping for the home over the weekend. we had wanted to check out new bed frames at ikea (the staff told us there are new ones arriving) but we ended with only bowls in our shopping cart. jerome is still sick so he stayed home with my mum who babysat him. lunch at ikea. the kiddo was asleep so we didnt get him anything. we were also looking out for ideas for the detailing so i randomly snapped the following pictures for reference, simply because i liked what i saw or it was that something i wanted to do. then.. i chanced upon this kiddy…

the works finally started.
the husband and me popped by to check the house out and the works have started! mega excited. it was dark and most of my pictures turned out in a funky green tint, looking like some night vision images. the toilet half wall is up too! looks like we’ll be swinging by the house pretty often now. kids bazaar sale at united square..
this morning, i jumped out of bed much later than i expected to and was late in meeting the mummies for our scheduled date. the 2 kiddos slept really late last night and the little one was suffering from congested airway from the cold and cough, so i had a rough night. poor bub. i hope.he gets better soon. anyway, i still went to join the mummies and the throng of people at the kids bazaar sale. the mummies were queuing up before 10am and they sent me this! doesnt these people need to work? so by the time i got there (about 11am).. it was really packed and i…

my little mohawk baby turns 3 months old!
jerome turns out to be quite a chubby baby that i never thought i could have (judging by how small jerry is) but boy, im so wrong! he’s my roly poly! while my poor wrists are hurting badly from carrying him, i cant be happier that he is growing well and healthy. i think he is quite the sleepy head.. drinks and sleep all day.. it got to a point where it worried me that he is no where as active! when jerry was the same age, he was already flipping all over. i need to resist the urge to compare.. im sure he’ll grow up fine.. and in…

jerry test drives his car!
when jerry turned one year old, my cousins-in-laws bought a really huge toy car for him. back then, he was really terrified of it (omg! this thing moves and jerks!!) so we had it parked at my in-laws’ place. jerry only sees and play with it at the corridor when he pops over on the weekends. his love with all things car has since grown so we finally got our act together and brought the car out for a test drive at bishan park last saturday! i find this sight really hilarious. the car fits perfectly in der’s car boot. there was an empty car lot beside us in the…
