Quick trial.
Popped by kino today so that hubby can pick up his usual magazine subscriptions. I took the opportunity to check out the nail-related books and stood there for the longest time browsing. Eventually decided to lug home 2 books and 2 magazines since there was 20% discount.. The big bonus was I got them FREE! Hubby decided to pay them for me so I feel really really loved.
There were dozens of pretty design and I was so raring to paint them all but I only have 10 fingernails and 10 toenails. Besides I am really tired from the long weekend, where every single day we were out and about.
So, I only tried out one design on ONE finger, just for the fun of it.
What do you think? How’s that for a first attempt?
Meanwhile, methinks I should invest in some nailart brushes and step up on that research for the manicure course that I set as a target for myself in 2012.
Blogging it down and shouting it out to everyone out there. Looks like I can’t quite back out, can I?
Hope everyone has a good short week ahead! I’m chilling on my bed and very reluctant to sleep and end my long weekend.

Hi there! Thanks for popping by. I'm Cherie, a ftwm (full-time working mum) to 3 lovely kids (2 boys & a princess) and my motto in life is to BE HAPPY. Of cos, the family is also very much an integral part of me so there would be loads of memories about the husband and my kids - Jerry (9yo), Jerome (7yo) and Leia (2.5yo) and everyone else that's close to me. I like documenting the kids' milestones, their growing up years, their achievements (and sometimes, mine), and my struggles and battles with motherhood. It sure ain't easy. I love seeking out good food and travelling, is trigger-happy, love new gadgets, love exploring new places and strives to live life to the fullest. I aspire to travel the world as much as I can, to soak in the different sights across the various continents and visit all the Disneylands in the world (almost there!). I also wanted to attend a nail course, but I intend to get preggers and I don’t think I can, nor have time for that : (

I think with practice will be easier. Think might be faster to paint all the nails at the same time cos no need to wait for it to dry versus painting one nail. Waiting time in between coats is quite long!
You should! The course can finish quite fast if you on the ball I think..besides your working hours quite flexi, not like mine.. Super rigid and long. Unless.. you are already preggers now!

Btw, I think the gel course quite expensive. Or is it me cheapo? I was looking around and the full course is about 2-3k? $500 just for gel like quite ex unless you just wanna learn one thing then I guess it’s worth it then.. I wanna learn the full works!

I’m not sure actually, I find it okay cos it comes with the Gel set kit. I think it’ll be good for the working / cleaning class cos they’d want gellish to last longer (and at $60 per manicure, might as well buy your own and do yourself / have gel nail parties etc!)
I heard that the entire course is about 2-3k, but its quite lehcheh in terms of homework and also i only have 2 weeks left before my honeymoon! LOL. The plan is to get preggers during/immed after honeymoon so that can have dragon baby. @_@;;;
