there are so much i want to say.. but i dont have the time/energy to for the past week. tried to post a super long entry in a crowded bus this morning while standing and grabbing the poles for my life as the bus swerves around in the morning traffic.

and one accidental press of the “NO” button and there goes my entire 25mins of typing. GONE.

:S

anyway, will try to remember bits here and there and post randomly.

the gist is, i had a horrendously hectic week last week!

well.. i finished editing the retreat video on tuesday night right? i exported the video and left it to run while i tuck into bed. horror when i woke on wed morning. Error! the sad thing is i was going to an internal event offsite (reporting time at 8am) and having a presentation in the afternoon. i lugged my laptop around and was frantically trying to resolve the issue.

the thing that i didnt expect? i spent the entire day troubleshooting it, from greenridge (bukit batok), to seletar road, back to greenridge, then to tanjong pagar and then to this ulu place called warwitt road (or something like that!). jen frantically made calls and pulled strings for her friends to assist. you know. i never had such an error-ridden day. i couldn’t believe the error messages that are appearing in front of my eyes.

one example went something like.. adobe premier pro is having a serious error. and after you click ok, the program shuts down!

*pulls hair*

so after moments and moments of exasperation the ENTIRE day, i finally managed to resolve the issues (with loads of trouble shooting and googling and using 3 different machines) at 1.30am, just some 8hrs before the video clip is due to show in JB. how great. after sending jen home, i reached home at 2.30am. despite the fact that in 5hrs, im due to leave to JB, i am not packed, was so dead tired, and feeling so zoombie-fied. think it could be the WORST day of the month, literally!

🙁

i am so NEVER gonna edit the damn video again. some one else could do it. if they don’t know how.. they bloody hell learn. cos it was my first attempt at using the program anyway. gei-kiang la!

*grumble*

anyway, all my effort is not to naught. well, i learned how to resolve the issues i faced eventually right? the only problem was my body was screaming bloody murder!

Hi there! Thanks for popping by. I'm Cherie, a ftwm (full-time working mum) to 3 lovely kids (2 boys & a princess) and my motto in life is to BE HAPPY. Sure, life isn't all that smooth but it's the mentality that counts, no? This blog documents my life. Or rather, snippets of my life that has passed me by. I love capturing life memories in the blog and being able to read back and laugh at myself (or anyone). I love to eat (A LOT), travel and paint my own nails so the blog is mostly about that. Is that considered lifestyle? Of cos, the family is also very much an integral part of me so there would be loads of memories about the husband and my kids - Jerry (9yo), Jerome (7yo) and Leia (2.5yo) and everyone else that's close to me. I like documenting the kids' milestones, their growing up years, their achievements (and sometimes, mine), and my struggles and battles with motherhood. It sure ain't easy. I love seeking out good food and travelling, is trigger-happy, love new gadgets, love exploring new places and strives to live life to the fullest. I aspire to travel the world as much as I can, to soak in the different sights across the various continents and visit all the Disneylands in the world (almost there!). Have fun reading and do drop me a comment to say hi! Love, Cherie Lim Find me on Instagram.
