Goodbye moriji!

Moriji is this orange toy that i bought 1.5years back or more to cheer myself up at work. It’s huge smile and bright colors make me feel cheery when i look it it.

When ade came on board and was seated beside me, moriji was asked to be placed on the panel between us because ade like moriji so much! More so, moriji saved her from the thoughts of burning her desk or shredding all the paper on her desk. Haha. Ade always say she’ll shred everything on her desk to ease her workload.. Cos no evidence will be left.

And when she moved from the administrator role to the assistant role.. She took my moriji along with her to be placed on her desk. We often joked about her kidnapping my moriji (i didn’t realised it’s gone till i saw it on her desk!). When i knew about her resignation.. I asked if she’s gonna secretly bring moriji back home. Haha.

So today, after i came back from a meeting, i found moriji sitting on my desk with a note. So sweet.

Anyhow, i made a tag for moriji and tied it around it’s neck with a ribbon. Popped it into an envelope together with a personalized handmade card and sent moriji on a mission to make the pregnant lady happy.

It’s ade’s last day today and moriji was my personalized farewell gift to her. I also spent 2 hours to put together a 7min video clip to show during her farewell. I hope it’ll trigger her memories of her time spent with us. =)
