my Saturday morning..
is spent scrambling out in bed at 7am and off we went to the paedratician. jerry has been battling with the flu virus since mid week and it developed into a full blown cough and now, fever. its been a morning it has been. we have just been told that jerry is suffering from an asthma attack and has to be admitted for observation and be constantly nebulized every 2hrs. I think its every parent’s fear of hearing that statement from the doctor. the hospitalization part that is. doc says he needs to be warded for 3 days. the timing can’t be worse. at the pd again
I'm definitely not enjoying the weekly paed visit lately. I can't remember the last Saturday that I slept in. good news is, he put on the weight that he has lost. woohoo. this is about the only time a woman would celebrate weight gain. and my brave little trooper didn't flinch or cry when he had his hepatitis jab today. instead, he took a biscuit and silently munch gobble down, cookie monster style. another jab down, next one in a month's time. Day 4 at home!
Technically, we ain’t home! Jerry needs to pop back to TMC for a check up and I’m kinda excited to be heading out of the house. All ready to go! Getting ready to pop out of the house used to be easy when it’s just the 2 of us, 30mins or less is all we need. Now, getting ready is a mammoth task! It took der & me 2 hrs to get everything needed for baby packed, washed, feed him, pump milk, washed everything to be brought out and check and double check everything again. I also had to lug a bottle of red dates and longan tea with me…
