errrmm.. it didn’t quite go that well in the end so i rather not talk about it. i was trying to secretly match make my friends and finally managed to organise dinner and a karaoke session with my friends/colleagues. have been anticipating the day for weeks! anyway, the best laid plans will still be screwed.. so the night didn’t exactly go as planned at all. 1. everyone had dinner plans last minute cos we separately had dinner before meeting up for karaoke. 2. the supposedly “match-make” couple didn’t talk at all! about the new year.
the long weekend was packed with tons of activities that I did not have any time alone, unless you consider 3 hours of manicure me-time. I ended 2009 with a movie – bodyguards and assassins and started 2010 with another movie – did you hear about the morgans? it was movie galore because i had this stack of $1 off coupons to be utilised before 31 Dec 09, so we bought movie tickets for all the shows that we wanted to watch, including avatar. holiday mood
i am idling for the last 3 hours.. packing my desk and cleaning it. with only 2 work days left before the vietnam trip.. i’m so on HOLIDAY MOOD! lalalala. now. to sing with the buddies at work. the weekend would be great!
