I am feeling poorly, both in health and mental being. visits to the doc has been frequent and today’s visit and a ‘procedure’ landed me with 4 days mc with 2 days of compulsory bed rest. no shopping, no marketing, no walking of long distance, no carrying of heavy stuff (my son included) and just complete rest. knowing how stressful it can get at home with the hyperactive, sticky, superglue kid that I have, there is absolutely no way I can get any rest at all. the moment I reached home this evening after the visit to the doc, my mum declared that she’s too tired and immediately left…

the long lost bestie
the other day, agnes msned me and told me she found my primary school bestie. the one that i lost contact with for the longest time. the one that i kept asking around if anyone knew what she is doing these days. and you can imagine my joy! and despite me being on mc. despite me feeling not too well. despite me rush out my work in the comfort of my room. i met the girls up for dinner that very night.
it feels a little weird to see her after so many years.. so much has changed (marriage, kids, she stopped dropped running!), but somehow.. the feeling and… -
rest i should
after an hour wait last night, i finally got to see the doc. and so. i am right. 2 days of MC and i am told to rest, and load on the h2o. it is seriously not a good time be to sick, but looks like i do not have much choice and i had to stay in. working from home for once and i think it’s gonna do real good for my soul and bod. i slept for 14hrs last nite. so refreshed now. hee.
