It’s the eve!
Picture compliments from my colleague sylvia who sits beside me.. With the comment, “cherie, here’s your hill of presents!” It’s the merry season and my desk is so messy! For the last couple of days.. I kinda enjoy sleeping late, waking up really late, and snooze in bed for the longest time. 5 days just swifted by! Gawd. 8 more days to enjoy with some days dedicated to clear some work and emails. =) Am on my way to town for last minute shopping and hope everyone have a good christmas! about the birthday
it wasn’t a loud bang. there wasn’t a huge celebration with friends as well. all i had were small little dinners with friends, that were simple and nice. i really don’t like adding numbers to my age. it sorta limits the things i can do, i.e. being crazy for one. thursday. the eve of my birthday. lunch was spent in swensen’s with the colleagues eating a feast and stuffing myself silly. we had.. clam chowder soup in breadbowl, smoked salmon salad, a HUGE platter-to-share, vegetables baked rice, mac n cheese, mushroom chicken spaghetti, cheese meltdown, a seafood pizza, a chocolate fondue and happy birthday ice-cream that’s complimentary on the house.…

havent been snapping away often these days. nothing interesting in my life actually. just the normal routine of work and home. meinu_yihui flew kite on me today, so the dinner date is off and i headed home in the rain at 5.45pm. there’s loads of work, but cos i am really tired and wanted to rest, i decided to head home early. here’s my desk a couple of days back, after i’ve set up the new computer and got all the wires/cables hidden. the new dell com at work is cranky, cos it gives out weird noises (and loud!) at times. i think something is wrong with the fan. 🙁…
