starting the week with a swollen toe.
the weekend has been great, from a great saturday out with der and a nice dinner with my favourite rocher bean curd as supper to a fantastic and lovely wedding of Ray & my bestie (and extremely tiring too!) on national day and ending with a super cleaning/packing day.. it’s been fulfilling thus far. and today, i start work with a swollen and bruised toe because i dropped this big plank of wood on my toe and i cannot bend it now. the pain is so acute, i am wondering if there is any fracture of some sort. nonetheless, the vain me came in heels still and i’m still in…

the weekend is gone and life goes on…. (hey, it sorta rhymes!) while i was on medical leave last friday, i was drifting in and out of sleep while struggling to get some work done and my ad signed off(!). der was practically staring at me sleep the entire day and he kept urging me to shut the com and get some proper rest. well, the most happening thing was that we caught transformers over the weekend. it was also a healthy weekend because der clocked some miles in his run and we went swimming where i swam 22 laps and did some late night bowling with agnes and friends.…

is it CNY already?
i’m not quite accustomed to the fact that CNY is just days away. i am supposed to be packing my bags and leaving town tonight, but i haven’t quite yet done most of the spring cleaning, or prepare myself for the mood. i’m kinda sad when i got an email this morning that my aunt and uncle didn’t get on the flight that they are supposed to. what was initially a technical delay turns out to be a cancellation of the flight, and they won’t be around here till monday morning. the reunion dinner’s gonna be quiet. ok. that said, i better get going with the cleaning, and of cos,…

cleaning mode
i am on a cleaning streak today. i cleaned my entire desk at work right after lunch today. i just stood up and decided i needed to wipe all that DUST off. an hour later, i’m sitting on a clean desk. sad thing is, all it takes is just 2 days for the dust to settle again. 6pm. headed home and jen was exclaiming that im home earlier and earlier! well, getting home BEFORE 7pm is really an achievement. and guess what i did after i had my shower? i decided to spring clean my dressing table and wipe wipe wipe. there goes all the dust. i also threw away…

of spring cleaning and cny
i have been spring cleaning my room for the last couple of months, had new sheets for the new year.. bought some new furniture for my room and packed it nicely. less some things that has to be thrown out, i think i am almost ready to welcome in the new year. but, i haven’t felt the cny mood. i haven’t bought my new year clothes. nails undone, hair uncut. and there are so many reports for me to submit the moment that i am back from the holidays that i am literally screaming inside myself against the workload. want to burn them all. ha! ok. back to cleaning and…
