• Sophie & Friends $5 E-voucher giveaway

if you have hung around this blog for a while, you would have realised that one of jerry’s earlier toys was this famous teether called sophie the giraffe (pictured above), which was a gift from a colleague. it’s an excellent toy in my opinion and has lasted him for a while as an entertainment tool and a teether through his earlier teething days. i recently did an online survey for Sophie and Friends and was awarded a $5 E-voucher for the effort. I don’t think i’ll be utilizing the voucher anytime soon so i have decided to give it away to my readers (whoever you are!). the voucher expires 30…

  • My mum’s invention.

Drool is a big part of my life at this point in time. Jerry has been drooling so much lately, I sometimes wonder if he gets dehydrated from all the liquid loss. He wets his bib ever so frequently and my mum couldn’t launder them fast enough, especially with the erratic weather these days, so she ‘recycles’ his rompers from the night before (the ones Jerry wears to bed with), turn it upside down and let him wear it as a bib to collect his drool. Know what? I personally think its a brilliant idea, environmentally and pocket friendly too! If you try out this idea as well, let me…

I got up early this morning and got the baby to cooperate with me! Tied a ribbon around him and presented it to the husband. Heh. I reckon he is the best present, no? Managed to take pictures of my baby smiling back at me in my camera for these shots. Lovely. Happy birthday darling. May you have…

  • the search for a playpen

and so.. with just a few days short of hitting the 6 months mark, my son has become incredibly mobile, moving across the room, half crawling, half hopping, half rolling or whatever means possible. put a toy he is interested in from across the room and he’ll scamper across in the ways he knows how. which pretty much means.. NIGHTMARE. today, he rolled himself off the play mat onto the hard marble floor under the coffee table in a matter of seconds and gently knocked his head against the floor. i was aghast. one second he was beside me in the center of the play mat, the next second, he’s…
