i just got an email from my manager.. her proposal of an additional headcount (me!) to the CEO for us to head for a regional conference in Phuket in nov is APPROVED!! well, the usual headcount is 2. I just got lucky! Whee! meant to post this for the longest time.. but i seriously don’t have the luxury of time. it’s sucha surprise from kent. last year, he gave me the real pressed flowers.. and now, i got photographs of it! hey dude, it’s really really sweet of ya to think of me.. you make me so shitty man. i always say i want to send you something to cheer you up, but i never did.. life’s been busy for me these days. a bad excuse, i know. but.. but.. *guilty look* well, i hope i did manage to bring some cheer into your life when u call! and.. well.. from the room
with the new purchases of a computer table, chair and wireless network adapter, i fulfilled my dream today. i shifted my computer into my room and abandoned my computer station in the living room that i have resided in for the last 10 years. it feels great. to have privacy, and blasting my itunes so that i can hear it when i am in my toilet. it may be a simple task for many, but it’s my dream for ages and i feel like im in heaven tonight. shall work on revamping the living room tomorrow before the dowager is back on fri!

it’s friday. even tho i need to work tomorrow still, i declare today a happy day!
it’s one of those SUPER UBER rare days that i grabbed breakfast before i came. gor invented this plaster bread thingy 2 nights before and it’s yummylicious! he taught me how to make it and i tried making it last nite. wanted to take pictures to show, but too caught up on cooking and talking to mum. mum was trying to learn the skills from me while i was cooking. and this morning, she prepare ai xin plaster bread for me. woo hoo! we had a real feast for lunch on tues. i was to prepare the sauté vege and fred to get the steak done. i didnt really fry the vege tho. just brought them to boil. heh.
