• Good bye.

I just stepped out of the office minutes ago.. It’s the last time that i’ll go there to work. I got a life size easel stand poster printed, a really huge poster of my team mates, a beautiful scrapbook and a lv little tote as my farewell gifts. It’s the same one that i bought for jen, they say good friends must have the same thing. I didn’t cry as i stepped out, feeling very flustered because i keep telling everyone that i HAD to go, and most thought that i am leaving only on the 30th. I got a bouquet of sunflowers from my boss and a small gift..…

  • restless

4 more days… counting down and i am totally SO not in the mood for work. many exciting things ahead. first up, i’m flying to aussie next week!! just when i thought i was so done with travelling this year… and errrm, gonna be really exciting because I’ll be there ALL ALONE for 2 3 days before aunt/uncle comes along to join me. thankfully, fio fio is gonna be in melbourne during the same period, so maybe i could meet her for a meal or 2 before she moves on her trip. this trip also marks the most travelling that i have done in a year, with vietnam, hong kong,…

  • my long weekend

it went by in a flash, and ending with me not feeling too good (sickly). am trying to pull off a last minute trip to ozzieland, departing next week. but argh! am desperately trying to get clearance to start work a day later due to ticketing issues. am keeping all my fingers crossed and hoping that the trip materialize. definitely gonna be a booster since i won’t get any travelling in for a good 6 months after that. why do time fly when you are not doing anything productive? I wish i have more lazing days like that. ok. gotta work on projectjen. some touching up to do before sending…

  • bangkok, sept 21 – 23

the bangkok trip is gonna be my last work trip this year. moving onwards, i doubt i’ll get to travel at all and it is a tad sad thinking abt it. the trip to bangkok was a really last minute one, where i am activated to fly under 36 hours, and probably the only work trip where i had to source for tickets and book the accommodation by ourselves, without the help of the ceo’s secretary. we arrived on a sunday, thanks to yours truly, because i wanted to be there earlier.. which turned out to be a really good thing because that was the only day that was a…

  • lethargic

am feeling a little lethargic now. didn’t sleep well last night (the bed was terrible!) and the past 2 days have been busy. it’s my last business trip together with jen. am kinda glad for the trip even though it was really last minute. at least i can spend some quality girly time together with her before our lives/routines changes after she embarks on her new job. the business trip. i am busily learning as much as i can, troubleshooting whenever i can, and making sure all the grammar is correct and putting my proof reading skills to test. it’s kinda madness because 6 people sit in the same room…

  • Mk lunch.

Am having lunch with my thai vendor and colleagues. Am safely in thailand, bangkok, but i feel so lost because all the familiar places are no where near me. Am near this place called on nut, and staying at this small serviced apartment that cost 25sing per night. We didn’t have a choice cos the best hotel available is fully booked. =( Ok. Time to eat. [mobile post @ mk, somewhere in bangkok]

  • taipei, day 5 aka last day

am a little thankful for the 2 days MC, because it allows me to take things slow, not stress myself over work (even though i replied a few emails), and simply rest and rest. 🙂 day 5, also our last day in taipei, i DRAGGED der to the zoo! yes. you heard me right, i went to the zoo. and knowing that i am not a fast food fan, day 5 was also a day filled with fast food. Mcdonalds for our breakfast! time to buy lottery already because i am eating fast food. i had the usual hotcakes (at least that’s something no so “fast-foody”), and also ordered a…

  • taipei, day 4 (part 1)

day 4 of taiwan entails an unexpected trail of events. what was supposed to be a relaxing day turned out to be the most packed and rushed day. the day started slow and we headed to taipei main station for some underground shopping. i spotted the first quickly bubble tea shop here! reminds me of the bubble craze in singapore many years back. we quickly moved on to 新光三越百货 for more shopping (13 levels)! BUT..BUT.. i didnt buy anything. der bought a porter bag and although i was really tempted to grab one too, i didnt think there were enough occasions to warrant a casual porter bag into my life!…
