morning entry
hello world! i’m amazed that i am actually blogging in the morning. the usual slot where i will be in a mad rush to get out of the house to head to work. today, i woke up, did everything slow-mo, lazed about, did hula hoops, read blogs and now sitting here waiting for time to pass a little before i head into the bathroom. the feeling’s kinda interesting. my body seems a weird because the cycles were all different in the usual sense. it must be preparing for race later today. having little flutters in my tummy now thinking about it. i keep checking over and over and making sure…

it has been a while…
since i last participated in a race.. when was my last? the 07 standard chartered that i didn’t turn up for? (i was sick then). i haven’t been into the running mode for the longest time. i haven’t been diligent also. oh wells. anyway, i signed up for the J.P Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge i am representing the green camp! omg. i must start training for it soon. now, that’s a goal that i can work toward to.

Back in sing.
I flew in last night, with a very heavy luggage, and hacking away. I’ve been sick the whole time in phuket, and have been plagued by phelgm. The conference’s schedule is packed to the brim and activities into the night ends around 10pm everyday. It’s quite a struggle when you have to wake at 6+ to wash up, have breakfast and make it for the conference at 8am. Averaging about 4hrs of sleep daily, my illness went full blown and i lost my voice on the 4th day. I missed the standard chartered run today. I was coughing badly and i got a nose bled and ended up sleeping in…

the shape run
here’s some pictures taken during the shape run on sunday. my top was too small for me and i think i looked like a fat dumpling! it was a bad run for me. a very lonely run. i did the first 5km with cherlyn in sight.. and then i was having some bad stitches and lost her in sight from 6km onwards. it was a very mental run this time with no one familiar around, and no music. the only thing that’s ringing in my head was wei’s warning about my knee. don’t push too hard.. watch your knee.. don’t pound your leg.. nearing the 7km mark, i suddenly lost…

another suicide attempt
after the 5km GE run, and the 8km AWARE run.. i have gone on and signed myself up for the Saucony 100-plus PAssion Run 2007. 10km. this time it is really suicide. i have misread the date and when i signed up for it.. i kept thinking it was 4th July (don’t ask me why!). when i am all done and paid, i realised the run is on the 8th july! *screams* allan’s wedding is on that day! not that i have anything to do with his wedding in the morning, but first, i am worried i would be really dead tired and stone at the wedding dinner. secondly, margaret’s…

the aware outdoor challenge
the race started in a frenzy for wendy and me cos we almost couldn’t make it to the start point in time. well.. it started with my computer crashing. then i decided to fetch my uncle to the computer store to get the stuff, and since wendy is not here yet, we sat down for lunch and waited for her. turns out that the chicken rice was really good (it usually is but my uncle and aunt hardly gets to eat). and so, we polished one whole chicken off between the 3 of us. that lead me to being late for jayden’s baby shower, plus the lack of parking in…

it’s here. the outdoor challenge. i am so not ready for it. telling from my hectic schedule, you can make a guess if i have trained for it.
i need loads of luck, and loads of determination to complete it. even tho everyone else say i can do it. yeah, of cos. by walking! wendy & me have decided to bring our blades along to blade after the run! woo hooo! hee. alrighty! off to pack my stuff and heading off to jayden’s baby shower before the run! everyone have fun on a saturday! the weather is good!
