the v-day bouquet

My simple vday..
I started the day pulling myself out of bed with only 3hrs sleep at 530am in the morning. Yay! He’s finally back from a one week trip. I hope it’s the last for the next few months since we are not far from d-day. Headed to the airport to give the boy a surprise (but his plane landed 50 mins earlier and I was caught halfway when he texted me). Valentine’s day.
I didn’t think i’ll get flowers this year for vday since I was away in msia and the day coincides with 初一 which makes it harder to buy flowers. But… I got a bunch of fake flowers instead. He has bought a bunch of fake flowers from ikea and wrapped them up with a silvery giuseppe zanotti shoe bag, sprayed the flowers with his favourite perfume and gave it to me!! Gotta love the innovation and effort behind the gift and I get reminded of him every time I smell the flowers!! valentine’s day
i sure had fun reading about everyones’ valentine’s day.. the nice meals that they had and the interesting things that they do. mine was extraordinary extra ordinary. i had a packet of $3 chicken rice (with chilli) for dinner! i was so famished that despite telling myself that i had to take a picture to blog about it, i still gobbled down the food the moment i got home.
and i spent the evening and the rest of the night with a bunch of aunties and uncles playing mahjong… while the youngsters were all out enjoying the day. shit, am i turning into an auntie already?! i am so… -
the valentine’s day gift
i never got round to mentioning this.. and i almost forgot about it till i was looking through the pictures taken last month. and yes. i got a nice spiffy little tote bag as a vday pressie. a really pleasant surprise, i must add. pressies makes me a happy girl. so does surprises.

and well, i haven’t got a date!
ok. does it count when junwei jio-ed me to go newton to eat seafood with his gang of friends? anyway, just barely an hr into the commercialised v-day.. junwei gave me a really sweet gift.. it’s a bottle of sweets! i thought it was pebbles and rocks! and then.. on my way home… some mysterious angel dropped something at my doorstep.. my favourite sunflowers from a mysterious person! and yes. i am a happy girl. despite no one dating me.
