.. is 6 months of paid lj account from silli_boi! the last present of 2007
just hours before the last of 2007 ended, i received the last present of the year.. and doorbell rang and startled me. hardly anyone would ring the doorbell at almost 10pm at night! my house is a corner unit and is always quiet. anyway, this was hand delivered.. all the way from hongkong. upon opening the box… this is what is it inside. i am touched. because it’s an expensive present. because it was hand carried all the way from hongkong. because i was thought about while someone is travelling. well, am happy.

christmas is over in a jiff. there wasn’t anything exceptional about it, nor was i very happy to be spending the day. in the past, christmas was a special day.. because it will trigger the memories of mine some 13 years ago.. this year, there wasn’t any thoughts about those at all. maybe i have let those memories go. i spent christmas eve feeling a tad loss and distraught. stranded and sandwiched. i thought about what i really want, but somehow.. i didn’t have a conclusion. ushered the christmas day in with a midnight movie – I am legend. also went to pay respects to uncle on christmas day because…

a present
this christmas.. i made a special present for a colleague of mine. thought it would be a sweet gift while she is basking in the joys of being newly wed.. and something that she could display in her new nest. silly me forgot to take a picture of the end product after it is being framed and hastily wrapped it up for her in the office yesterday while she is still out for lunch. so this is what it looks like raw. really hope that she likes it. i had to rush this out amidst my travelling plans and tedious work load in nov and dec.

some updates
the last time i did a collage for posting was in OCTOBER! that’s friggin 2 months and i sorta lost the drive, the feel, the touch for making a collage. and because it’s christmas, i thought i’ll post the christmas decorations that was put up that i have mentioned for the umpteen times, but did nothing about. and here’s a shabbily done collage of it.. It’s the eve!
Picture compliments from my colleague sylvia who sits beside me.. With the comment, “cherie, here’s your hill of presents!” It’s the merry season and my desk is so messy! For the last couple of days.. I kinda enjoy sleeping late, waking up really late, and snooze in bed for the longest time. 5 days just swifted by! Gawd. 8 more days to enjoy with some days dedicated to clear some work and emails. =) Am on my way to town for last minute shopping and hope everyone have a good christmas! Can you spot a present with your name on it? Christmas mood not yet felt by me, and i haven’t started my christmas shopping for presents.. Last night, i spent a long time sorting out and wrapping the only christmas presents that i bought when i was in thailand. Looks like i gotta battle the crowd tomorrow to start my christmas shopping. I feel so tired today. Gonna be a long day!
