Jerry’s school outing at the Animal Resort.
On the second week of Jerry starting school, the school had an excursion! Since Jerry is amongst one of the youngest in the school and is the *new* kid, the school didn’t recommend letting him go on the excursion unless i tag along. I knew the excursion would do Jerry good since i always believe in exposing him to nature (as compared to technology) so i signed him (and myself) up! it is a great chance for him to interact with animals in real life and it was also a good opportunity for jerry to get to know his classmates/teachers better. i sure did have an adventure chasing jerry down…

good friday play date.
the bestie’s family and us headed out to jacob ballas children garden on friday morning for some water play. the last time the 2 kids met, jerry was still very young! we wanted to hang out at the sand pit first but jerry was immediately attracted by the sprays of water a distance away and ran towards the water to play! it was before i could even settle down (i.e. find a shady spot) and *poof* he was gone along with estelle’s plates and with daddy chasing after him. this kid, he really loves playing with water. filled with smiles.. it was extremely tough to capture adequate pictures of…

brunch ay canopy with the cousins.
last weekend, the cousins and me planned for brunch! it wasnt so much the food but more for the kiddos to get together and us just gathering together. my nephew Levon trying to hold Jerry’s hands so he doesnt run about while the husb keeps a watchful eye. my cheeky son trying to take off. xsilly joined us and he has a playdate too! having a ride on Donald! lol. it was my first time at canopy and I didn’t realised that there were a lot more indoor seats within in an adjacent restaurant building that belongs under the same management. pardon the radio silence on the blog front for the past week. mummy me has been struggling with a full time job (with long hours) and a sick baby with an intense medication schedule and clocking in no more than 4hrs sleep daily. daddy wasn’t around all week but I’m glad to report I’m out in the sunshine now. baby is better (but still on medication), daddy is back and I spent an entire day sleeping away over the weekend so all is good.. except, maybe its my turn to fall sick cos I have been sneezing and sniffing non stop since morning. bah. nonetheless, we had a…
