Madi Gras Dinner & Dance 2007
and so, agnes came by my desk and spotted a picture of me in a costume last friday.. and she said that i didn’t blog about it.. so. because im the hungry one now with nothing much to do while waiting for dinner to arrive… the topic would be the dinner and dance last year with the pageant contest.. and this was how i looked… with my blue striking fan dress with the rest of the female contest finalists.. my boss and me with my team the pageant voting boxes one of the cat-walking parades the grand finale because it’s been so long.. i cannot remember the gist of everything…

finally over!
the dnd ended last night with a very tired me, lugging a huge bag, heading home by myself and leaving the rest of my team at the “party”. i was dog tired. the pageant is finally over! i wasn’t as nervous as i thought i would be. i was so tired that i hardly could open my eyes, and my legs were aching from all that walking, dancing and rushing around. even before the show started, i was yawning from the lack of sleep and dying of hunger. all i ate yesterday was 2 small mouthfuls of vege, 2 fish balls, and a small popiah. in case you are wondering..…

it’s raining.
for once in a rare rare chance, i wished it wasn’t raining. because im decked in my running gear, all hyped up to go for a short run after loading new tracks into my nano for my running and all i got was raindrops popping down from the sky. Grrr.. i really needed the exercise from all that i ate for the last few days. not to mention that there were so many people who reminded me today that i LOOK fatter. 🙁 that’s depressing and quite a change from people telling me i slimmed down recently. my fugly face is being plastered in over a hundred restaurants in all corners of singapore!!! the DND committee did up posters and placed them in all the restaurants to hype up the event. OMG! i look so darn fat. 🙁 my picture is being cropped so tightly and i seriously don’t look flattering! 🙁

a joke
recently, there have been some rumours from friends that i haven’t met for the longest time.. that i am getting married. i was literally so amused by that and wondered how those rumours got about. today, while chatting with eugene on msn earlier.. he asked the magic question. hey, u getting married?! that userpic..is that a wedding gown? remember this picture from the pageant… and so, i think i know where all those rumours came from. hee hee.

emcee-ing again
i just got a sms from my friend who is due to be a bride next week. and she asked if i could be the emcee for her wedding. looks like it’s really a year of emcee-ing for me. looking at it positively, it can help me conquer my stage fright.. and also.. prepare for the pageant contest in november. oh. did i mention that i got into the pageant finals?
