And no, that’s not my desk. That’s the desk of the colleague seated behind me. The people here are sure a fun bunch because they really sabo her! They hid her phone line, power cord extension and messed up her desk, and put those colorful post-it with funny messages all over. Because it’s her birthday tomorrow. But i must say.. She’s quite smart. Although she was lacking everything, she stole everything she need from a colleague that is currently on leave for a week, without even bothering to look for the missing stuff. Up in the air.
[typed on the plane journey from sing to bkk] I am penning this down at thousands of feet high up in the air. Usually, I will be really happy going on a trip, filled with excitement, but I am not feeling like that now. Started reading the scrap book that Soo Leng made for me after I boarded the plane. It was a simple but very pretty thing. Although there aren’t many pictures (I held hostages of them), but it’s so nicely done up and I’m so impressed! Good bye.
I just stepped out of the office minutes ago.. It’s the last time that i’ll go there to work. I got a life size easel stand poster printed, a really huge poster of my team mates, a beautiful scrapbook and a lv little tote as my farewell gifts. It’s the same one that i bought for jen, they say good friends must have the same thing. I didn’t cry as i stepped out, feeling very flustered because i keep telling everyone that i HAD to go, and most thought that i am leaving only on the 30th. My new MA girl…
During a major briefing today, i drew a little smiley on my MA’s notebook to cheer her up. She seemed stressed up and tired every day.. She smiled and then added to the drawing. a month from now..
i think the thing that i will miss a lot is all those long lunches, trying of all the various restaurants and enjoy eating. i think it will be good news for my waistline, but it might potentially turn my days into mundane and boring ones since my lunch is always seen as a perk for the day. anyhow, here’s some pictures taken some time last month? lunch tea (around 3pm!) at hard rock cafe.. and when we were throwing a team farewell lunch for kara.. she chose turkish food, so we headed to SOFRA at shaw towers. and being the team culture, we ordered everything that we could potentially…

what do you actually do when you are sitting in your room, staring at the clock and the computer and dithering on whether to go for a jog. my mind is going through the “i am so lazy” and “i am fat and need to exercise” fight. the latter is likely to win though, because after all, i have been running for the last 2 days and i really need to shed those fats. which brings me to the point that, i totally adore low waist bottoms. do you know why? because i don’t feel uncomfortable if i wear low waist bottoms with a bulging tummy. that fact struck me…
