Happy birthday to myself!
It went by like any other day, but that’s how birthdays are to me as I grow older. Der celebrated it for me the night before and brought me to greenwood fish bistro simply because it was oysters night and knowing how much I dig oysters. I actually kinda spoiled the surprise the weekend earlier while suggesting to my brother we should go there one of these days because the oysters are dirt cheap (at $1 each with any order of main course) and der let out the fact that he was gonna bring me there come Tuesday. The weekend.
Love this picture of my boys, snoozing on a Saturday morning. Dim sum high tea buffet at goodwood park (again). It seems like THE place of the month for me. Been there so many times, but the buffet was good, and the key highlight was mini abalone siew mai. I forgot to take a picture!! And when I remembered, it was never refilled anymore. Bummer! Green Lantern.
The hubby and me snuck out for a movie on Sunday night again. Am very thankful for my mum who is always ready to care for my baby and let me heads out with ease. We caught the green lantern and I like the movie! Pretty awesome but I cannot wait to watch the transformers which is launching today! Anyhow, we ended the movie date in a debate. Weekends.
Saturday. 1 day before my estimated due date. I was determined to get out and about despite the increasing pain. It’s my LAST weekend out before i’ll be confined. That, I’m pretty sure. Sure is a sight though, with me stopping every few steps for a short break (catch my breath, ease the pain) and moving on at tortoise’s speed. So not used to it and gawd, the hot weather makes it rather unbearable! Brunch at strictly pancakes, 44a prinsep street.
