the birthday present for myself.
i always like to buy myself an early birthday present. if a birthday is not enough reason to pamper myself, i don’t know what is. and so, presenting my own present for the year! pic from www.engadget.com wanted the ruby red version but unfortunately it is not out yet, so i had to settle for the white one. it’s sucha breeze carrying this around! my only grouse for the moment is that i wished it had more usb ports and that my long fingers are trying to adjust to the small keyboard.

being silly as usual.
the happy x.silly over the last weekend, we decided to be silly and bought x.silly a kinder surprise! of cos, der and me finished the chocolate and had some silly fun checking out the toy in it. it’s nice to be relax a little and just be silly for a moment. 🙂

my farewell book
i chanced upon it when i was doing a little spring clean yesterday. decided to take some pictures and share. i guess no one really had a chance to see the entire book except me, because it was completed just minutes before i had to run (to the airport) on my last day of work in ph.

happy moments.
while this has been a tiring week, little joys in life sure do help to perk the day up. the boy surprised me on monday morning when he left a note in my bathroom mirror.. it sure started my monday on a very sweet note. never mind that the message has grammatical errors. haha. the specky pig that he drew was so hilarious. baby, thank you for being so sweet and endearing. and thanks for offering to drive me to work (although it didn’t materialise). it’s really the thought that counts! am missing you now. wished i could fly to europe now! and when i got into office, mr bean…

valentine’s day
i sure had fun reading about everyones’ valentine’s day.. the nice meals that they had and the interesting things that they do. mine was extraordinary extra ordinary. i had a packet of $3 chicken rice (with chilli) for dinner! i was so famished that despite telling myself that i had to take a picture to blog about it, i still gobbled down the food the moment i got home. 🙁 and i spent the evening and the rest of the night with a bunch of aunties and uncles playing mahjong… while the youngsters were all out enjoying the day. shit, am i turning into an auntie already?! i am so…

new look

random sort of update
i’ll just type what comes to my mind! christmas. had you ever had a pink christmas? i had one. a hectic one nonetheless. planning for the christmas party in the office, tagging the prizes, sorting them out, putting up the decorations, thinking of the games to play that’s related to the theme. sounds like my kind of thing, but seriously, it’s so much additional work… i really wished i could be left alone at my desk to clear my more important work. like those that allows me to achieve my KPIs. a little late to talk about christmas, i know. CNY is barely 2 weeks away. where have i been?…

Pictures of my last day
finally have a bit of time to myself this week. since the return from melbourne, i have been really tired.. and so, i finally looked at the pictures taken on my last day with my colleagues. unfortunately, many of the pictures of me came out blur (using my dslr).. errrmm.. i am presuming it’s because its too hi-tech for my colleagues to use. hee. and so, here’s the pictures. the sad thing is not the entire team was around. it was a busy week and a lot of them had to be out of the office. still… the last memories of 6.2.3.5.3.5.3.5. errmm.. that’s not me. it’s a life size…

my new toy!
i got myself a new toy on saturday! der bought me the metallic rose pink nds lite as a pre-christmas gift. hahah. christmas doesn’t seemed to be anywhere near! but i have been stinging on myself and not willing to fork out the money (as compared to fishing out my card to pay for his polo ralph tees and other expensive stuff!), so he decided that he would buy it for me. to accompany me when i embark on the new job and the longer travelling journey (kill me please!). but, he seems more interested in the nds lite than me! very pro-actively helping me to download all the games…
