Happy lunch with Agnes!
To chase the monday blues away.. I had a great albeit expensive lunch! It was happy lunch with Agnes! The girl is so busy these days, I seriously cannot remember when is the last time I had lunch with her.. Steamboat lunch at Xian de Lai @ nex! Love! Happy happy lunch! Happy lunches.
I seemed to forgot how much happy lunches revive my soul.. And now that i think about it, i guess thats part of the reason why i feel like wanting out these days – i didnt get enough time out that puts me right back to fighting hard. I just feel tired, sore, angsty and demoralised. Which brings the point that food really cheers me up! I guess i miss working with jen because we are both are lovers of good food. Secret admirer….not!
Feeling loved all week, unfortunately, im suffocating in the workload. which is the reason why im up at this ungodly hr… Received some love 2 nights ago while i was doing duties at singfest. Here’s what in the lovely package! LOVE! Hee. Love this because its so pretty! Its a keychain but i have half the mind of wearing this as a pendant instead! hilarious. i told him that i’ll seat him beside agnes at the wedding (hinting the possibility of giving him more chances to get close).. and then the conversation veered off to the other invitees.. and he went.. I want to sit with CINDY! (right in front of agnes). i burst out laughing when Agnes went.. 你可不可以想一想我的感受？！ sigh. confirm zero chance like that.

happy lunch!
had a really happy and fun lunch today. it was a big group of people but just small enough to engage everyone in the table conversation. fun people and good food always cheers cherie! and the reason for the lunch?! to celebrate all our hard work for the past many many months that was being put in to launch this website. it was my baby, and though there are still tonnes of stuff to be changed, having made it to the launch is quite a feat considering the limited resources, time and budget that we had. and the fact that everything was done in-house. Woots! it was a real painful…

the planned “blind date”.
errrmm.. it didn’t quite go that well in the end so i rather not talk about it. i was trying to secretly match make my friends and finally managed to organise dinner and a karaoke session with my friends/colleagues. have been anticipating the day for weeks! anyway, the best laid plans will still be screwed.. so the night didn’t exactly go as planned at all. 1. everyone had dinner plans last minute cos we separately had dinner before meeting up for karaoke. 2. the supposedly “match-make” couple didn’t talk at all!
