it’s been almost 2 months since i headed back to work (gosh! has it been that fast?) and i’m honestly, honestly missing my mama friends and the tea-times and lunches that we used to have while we were all on maternity leave. yes, even if it means i had to drag 2 kids along with me. so yeah. this post about me reminiscing about the happy times, and blogging all those happy pictures that i didnt managed to post here. lunch with mich @ antoinette i get reminded of Jerry when i see the logo. every. single. time. because he keeps pointing it to me and says “Ba Ba Sheep!!”…

The uni mates.
My uni mates. It’s been a long time since I caught up with them. We all have moved on so much.. Yihui was my sec sch junior in sjab.. And our friendship has been through quite a fair bit, from marching to first aid training, to be punished by me and then to classmates and project mates and finally graduating some 6-7 years ago.. She has been there for a huge part of my life! Mich has been my Tp junior as well, being in the same studies club for the business school and running for residency in the club.. im hungry! looking at these makes me feel worse..
its past lunch.. and i am really feeling a tad hungry. just finished up some of the preparations for pei’s wedding tomorrow and i am going to head out soon! meanwhile, here’s some food pictures that are making me drool real bad. took them during the ‘last lunch’ in the west with mich on my 2nd last day working in the west. i suggested we head to the scholar restaurant (since only staff can dine there) and i really really heart the custard buns! don’t that last picture make you salivate. gawd. i need to change and get out to grab some food. wonder where all the people in the…

feeling much loved.
this morning, the reception called me and said i had a delivery even before my feet landed in the office grounds. Hmmm.. and i wonder what it was. (i dont remember any work related delivery that i had requested!) and this was what was waiting for me at the reception. cheery sunflower to cheer up my week! thank mich & jon! am really really thankful for the sweet gesture.

my lunches for the week.
a quick photo post of lunches this week.. monday. lunch at tony roma’s suntec. had to do a site recce and have totally no clue what to eat. thought of going budget but my colleague didn’t want to squeeze with the lunch crowd at kopitiam. went down the escalator and we took the first option we saw. it helps that i have a $10 voucher from the last time i had dinner with jen (oops. was going to hyperlink it when i realised that i didn’t blog about it. see what i meant by missing out a chunk of my life?!). i had the chicken and steak combo (yums yums!)…

my good friend wedding.
i couldn’t have missed it if i could help it.. so here’s the one of the 2 pictures that i took that day. sorry that i turned up in jeans because i couldn’t wear a dress with the set up in the morning. i can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures of that day. it’s now march.. which means.. it’s the month where i can meet mich for lunch/dinner regularly!

dinner date with mich & ruth
for the longest time, ruth and i have been wanting to do a meet up.. but somehow our schedules always clashes. i’m always unavailable during the weekdays and she’s busy during the weekends. so.. we finally managed to meet for dinner together with mich. but, not before crashing into mich’s office for some mischief! check out the colorful m&m’s that i found in mich’s office!! and of cos, i cannot resist taking a picture with them! and then we popped by aerins for our dinner. boy! i was famished! here’s what we had… i had this – spaghetti chorizo. spaghetti with spicy spanish sausage tossed in arabiata sauce. it was…

dreaming
urgh! my lovely friday evening was spent sleeping last night. it started raining while i was reading my book. and then.. the light pitter patter sound was soothing and the next thing i know.. i fell asleep. guess i must have been deprived of angpows. this morning i was dreaming that i found another 2 angpows on my desk..and in it, there were more than $200 bucks. and before i could keep the money in my wallet, the alarm clock rang! urgh. the funny thing is.. one of them was a $60 angpow from mich! hahaha. totally funny and impossible. okie. that’s what dreams are like right? maybe my mind…
