happy birthday to me.
some weeks back, I turned another year older. uneventfully. I think birthdays get a whole lot more toned down as I age. I spent the day on a quick date with the husb, out watching hossan leong’s stand up comedy and had loads of laughter for company. had a quick dinner before we zipped home for the kids. thank you all who sent well wishes and greetings my way through fb, text messages, whatsapp, IG and all other social platforms, thank you very much. I may not have replied them all, but I read every single one of them and feel very much loved. the highlight of the day…

The babies goes for a wash..
In anticipation of the arrival of Jerry, all the babies get a wash too! Last wednesday, when the sun was good, my mum started on the deed. I’m quite amused at how my mum hangs them out to dry.. But guess who gets left out and is happily sleeping on the bed? Haha! This greeted me when i got home.. I thought it was left out on purpose but my mum insisted that she took everything to the wash.. Oh well, till the next wash. All my toys are clean and smelling really nice but der hates the detergent smell and prefers his smelly babies. Heh. Posted via LiveJournal app…

The lost post about xsilly – x.silly gets pampered!
I cant remember what i wrote in the post anymore because it was written in paris and paris was a week ago. But anyway, x.sillly gets a present on our honeymoon from der, despite der complaining that there are THREE of us on the honeymoon. He gets a pair of socks! Mad cute, except that the prints are of a maryjane and looks a little girly, but these are like the only clothing we ever managed to find that fits the tiny him! Looking real smart in the bow ties that i bought earlier today, and all ready for the occasion. But too bad, the bow ties aint for them.. guess who went sun-tanning today?
came home last night and realised all the ‘boys’ are gone. *sob* i couldn’t find them when i searched around the house, and when i found them… horrors of horrors!! they are swirling in a pool of water in the washing machine! =( the boy has told my mum to wash them. because x.silly has been smelling odd since that day when the boy came back drunk. must be some of the puke have gotten on him. was reeling from distress last night cos i had nothing to hug to bed. so this morning, the trio were hanging in the kitchen, sun-tanning away! thought they looked kinda cute here. and…

am doing some self-cheering up and take my mind of work for some 10 mins. my head is hurting from too much stress and because there are still quite a bit to do, i need a breather. and yup, here’s some happy things. on the recent trip to south africa, i was eyeing this dior make up kit from kris shop but i didnt manage to purchase because i was enjoying the movies thinking that i have the entire journey but conveniently forgotten about it. so, i got the boy who was travelling the day i got back to help me buy! it came much bigger than i expected it…

chanced upon my entries 2 years ago when i was searching for x.silly birthday. turns out, i didn’t manage to find it. i just remembered that i got him just a day before i headed off to phuket. the entries. they sound chaotic. they are mostly depressing. and confused. and then i look at myself now. 2 years on, i am just happy and glad that i made the choice. and i seriously feel so blissful. yes. work sucks (when does it not?) but other than that, i think i am happy. and i look forward to each day in contentment, knowing that someone would be there to shield me,…
