I attend a wedding over the weekend, of james and angel. it was a lovely wedding with touching speeches and all. and it was special to me in my own little way. I was back in the same ballroom that I wedded in 3 years ago. as i sit in the ballroom, the memories of my own wedding flashed in my mind and I couldnt help it but smile at those memories. the beautiful wedding I attended on Sunday at mandarin oriental. Qunyu and Travis got married! she’s such a lovely bride! enjoyed the company of my uni mates very much. havent seen them since the last wedding 6 months ago. we really should meet more often! I had loads of fun playing with my friend’s 2.5yo who came in a tuxedo and a bow tie with a matching bib! he was super well behaved, sat at the table and self-feed himself. gosh. Right after the gathering on Saturday’s afternoon, we rushed home, got changed (but I fell asleep cos I was so tired and had a bad headache), and rushed off to the wedding. With the pouring rain, it just means bad traffic and extreme inconvenience because we couldn’t load the baby as fast as we would like and had to drive the car to a sheltered area and that caused some delay.. Last sunday, I attended my colleague’s wedding. Probably the most chilled wedding I attended ever. Everything was done elegantly, the wedding montage was simple and classic, the pictures were all oozing with the couple’s personality, there wasn’t much fanfare which is really nice, no fake cake cutting, no yum seng (just a simple toast) and much of the time spent was really spending quality time chatting with the guests and simply enjoying themselves. My Sunday..
I spent the last few hours yawning away non stop. Gawd.. Feeling tortured because I so want to sleep but i’m out attending der’s cousin ROM. Jerry tortured me last night and kept me awake though I very much wanted to sleep early. Sleep early I really did… 5AM! So this morning, I struggled out of bed at 9.40am to prepare for the day!! my bestie’s beautiful wedding..
this just had to be the longest and most tiring wedding because it started at 3.30am for me. dragging myself outta bed and getting ready after going to bed less than 2 hours before. but, it’s a really a blast! we had loads of fun, in the morning, travelling around, taking pictures and playing a lot of games at the wedding dinner. the bestie’s is the most hyper bride and tak-glam bride that i know thus far. she’s always hoping around and pulls up her dresses to her knees and walk around showing her legs. super hilarious sight at times because one would expect the bride to be demure and…

starting the week with a swollen toe.
the weekend has been great, from a great saturday out with der and a nice dinner with my favourite rocher bean curd as supper to a fantastic and lovely wedding of Ray & my bestie (and extremely tiring too!) on national day and ending with a super cleaning/packing day.. it’s been fulfilling thus far. and today, i start work with a swollen and bruised toe because i dropped this big plank of wood on my toe and i cannot bend it now. the pain is so acute, i am wondering if there is any fracture of some sort. nonetheless, the vain me came in heels still and i’m still in…

i took some pictures at a wedding… 2 weekends later, i decided to steal then off my cuzzie’s (wendy) blog!
