jerry is 19 months!
I have been tardy on this space! with the pregnancy moving into the third tri (hello week 30!), work, the demise of 2 family members recently (all within a week) and a hyper toddler, my hands have been pretty full. and before I know it.. my boy turned 19 months today. the most significant part was that he lost all his babiness while I werent looking! I looked through the pictures in the past 3 months and its like.. he suddenly transformed. happy 14th month baby!
that was 2 days ago but the past month had whizzed by so fast, I realised I didn’t really take a lot of pictures! nothing much has changed the past month, you are equally hyperactive, if not more. you occasionally skip your afternoon nap and its been extremely tiring for everyone to keep up with your energy levels. mummy barely has anymore ‘me-time’! even blogging has taken a back seat because I’m constantly tired and spent. this month, you added ‘pa pa’ (scared scared) to your vocabulary list complete with actions of thumping your chest with your hand. your no. 1 item on that ‘pa pa’ list is…

the law of imitation.
the law of imitation says do whatever you want your kid to follow. tonight, I wanted to brush his teeth but he didn’t allow me.. I end up holding a toothbrush myself and got him to anyhow scrub his teeth with his toothbrush. except that when it comes to an super active baby, he was running all over with the toothbrush, I was pretty freaked out that he might fall and injure his throat! other than that, he went on with the toothbrush for the longest time, both my mum and me couldnt pry the toothbrush away without a major meltdown. sigh. at 13 months..
I have a naughty baby on my hands! tantrums. I have been getting more and more of it these days. he stamps his little feet a lot more, screams his head off and burst out in tears, stomps away in tears and turn back with a crying face..kicks his legs madly.. he’s turning into a little monster in my books! while it frustrates me to no end, at times, i do find it hilarious and quickly whip out my camera to capture the moment.. the tantrums an be quite patience testing.. in the past month, the biggest possible difference is in his speech. he still goes around…

i had almost EVERYONE asked me about the theme. mother’s day..
marks the day I decided to start Jerry formula milk. he has been having the runs since mid week and other than fresh breastmilk, everything else seemed to trigger the runs. it pains me to see him hungry since my supplies could barely meet his demand these days. so I grit my teeth this morning and finally opened up the formula milk sample I have lying in the house for the longest time. he seems happy drinking it. what a day to mark the occasion. happy mother's day to me.. and all the mother's out there! 你们最棒！！ Posted via LiveJournal app for Android.

Jerry at 12 months.
I know I said this many times.. But I can’t quite believe a year has since passed! It’s a big milestone for mummy me, as well as baby jerry. Ok. I must give credit to the husband for surviving it as well. LOL. He’s a TODDLER now. On his birthday, the husband kept telling jerry, “baby, you are not baby anymore.. You are a toddler already!!”.
