My baby jerry Choo at 7 months.
Happy 7 months old, baby! It’s been a bit of a whirlwind the past month, with him going through a lot of firsts. First time at the zoo, first time being sick, first time on the nebulizer machine, first stand, first few steps with support, first time sitting up by himself, first time taking the milk bottle and feeding himself, first climb, first self stand without support.. Cat mountain surprise.
I love throwing surprises. When the mood struck me that is. And of cos, the opportunity to do so.. I blogged about the goodwood park’s mao shan power puffs that was oh-so-good in my previous post. And because the promotion period is nearing its end, and my mum has yet to try.. The puff was too small to be shared among so many of us the other day so I brought her to buy some yesterday. I think all babies are lucky beings. They are always being gifted with presents before they are out! Mum here ain’t so lucky because my dear Jen went Xiamen and I didn’t get a present! Jerry has not 1 but 2 presents from her! Unfair! Mr bunny here is totally baby friendly, no eyes, buttons or small parts. I haven’t thought of a name for him yet. Miss the good old times.
Had quite a lot to drink today, but surprisingly super sober and had enjoyed myself very much in months. Had a meet up with steve and Jen, which was long overdue and we sat at a quiet bistro @ changi with good food, great companion, beers and waves splashing softly in a distant and planes flying over us every 10-15 mins. It was a lovely place, and an even lovelier experience. We chatted about the good old memories in ph, the trips that we used to take, those retreats and the funny moments. BBQ time!
went bbq at jen’s place yesterday. haven’t been catching up with jen as much as i would love to. hate our jobs for being so demanding/time consuming. anyway, i was the only punctual one! jen’s specialty – jap rice ‘balls’ and my favourite type of corn! check out the giant prawns! they were sooooo huge! the boy peering over the food. and nope, all he did was sit around and waited for the food! i got too busy bbq-ing the night away and totally forgot to take more pictures of the rest of the food. urgh. another time then. packed the boy off to the airport to catch his flight…

sent a bouquet of roses to cindy! and here’s the email i got from her while pretending that I knew nuts about the flowers. and i spoke to jennifer a while ago and she was telling me that the flowers that i sent her are so ME. and she told her husband the flowers were from ME without picking it up. i almost went into fits just thinking about it and i almost want to kick der for no grand birthday meal.. and of cos, i didnt do anything but SULK big time. and secretly hitting him with x.silly’s hands when he is sleeping! ha! revenge time. I just realised something stark after i just sent a msn message to my colleague . if there’s ONE thing that hasn’t changed since the last job, it’s me always asking about lunch before lunch time is even due. i guess a greedy person never change its appetite.
(and yes, i can hear jen going, “ya lah! greedy pig!” when reading this.) and if you are keen to know.. i am going to order a packet of vegetarian bee hoon + a bowl of tonic soup. Yums. i’m already drooling…
