with the impending move to our own house, the one thing i will miss is my mum’s cooking. so, i am going to start noting down her simple to prepare and fuss free recipes here! i learnt the steps in my growing up years, but seriously, when my mum stopped working.. i have been rather pampered because who needs to cook when my mum is home to cook everyday? so i needed a refresher. I didn’t plan anything special. at all. I didnt even buy a present. ha! A date with the husband.
Since a few weeks back, I have dedicated friday nights to having a date with the husband. It was triggered by the fact that mum went for surgery and there wasn’t the usual home cooked and we had to eat out. It turned out to be a great idea (even though we end up eating really late on Fridays) because we managed to clock some couple time over a good meal or sometimes, a simple and happy meal. My simple vday..
I started the day pulling myself out of bed with only 3hrs sleep at 530am in the morning. Yay! He’s finally back from a one week trip. I hope it’s the last for the next few months since we are not far from d-day. Headed to the airport to give the boy a surprise (but his plane landed 50 mins earlier and I was caught halfway when he texted me). The uni mates.
My uni mates. It’s been a long time since I caught up with them. We all have moved on so much.. Yihui was my sec sch junior in sjab.. And our friendship has been through quite a fair bit, from marching to first aid training, to be punished by me and then to classmates and project mates and finally graduating some 6-7 years ago..
